Dee Murphy’s 2023 Luxe RED Award Winning Design Includes Blue Parakeet Rugs

Everything’s coming up Dee Murphy! Right on the heels of her conversation with Livingetc about how to bring soul to your new build design project, Luxe Magazine announced the 2023 Luxe RED Award for Wow-Factor Room for SoCal goes to an unforgettable dining room design by Murphy Deesign. The winning room features a gorgeous neutral 19th Century Oushak rug from Blue Parakeet Rugs, so we are doubly excited about this news!
We posted previously about this stunning space on our Buzz page after splashy photos of the project were published by both The Wall Street Journal and Home & Gardens. And we can say it was as fun to work in as it looks in the photos!
Plus, on this project, we got to work with one of our favorite stylists, Gillian Lawlee (@mylifeincolour on Instagram), who always brings so much love and care to her work. Seeing excellence rewarded with actual awards as well as multiple shoutouts in the press is the sweetest cherry on top of all that effort.
