Dwell’s Kathryn M. explored a modern stunner in near Griffith Observatory that embodies indoor-outdoor California living. The home, designed by Bruno Bondanelli, was recently outfitted by A 1000 x Better – with a few antique treasures from Blue Parakeet Rugs! – and listed by ACME Real Estate for $3.7 million.

The sleek open living area with soaring ceilings is continuous with a lush green outdoor space with pool and guesthouse. With expansive white walls, beamed ceilings, and muted stone and wood built-ins, the elegant home is a perfect canvas for luxurious textiles and furnishings on a grand scale. Who wouldn’t feel like West Coast royalty while reclining on the lush velvet sofa atop a palatial antique Persian rug, looking through the open wall onto the zero-edge pool surrounded by heritage fig trees? It’s a house that must be seen to be believed, and we loved helping pick just the right rug for each incredible room!
