Rue Daily Tours Classic LA Tudor with Blue Parakeet Rugs in "Every Single Room"

Caitlin Sourapas of Cait Sourapas Interior Design gave Rue Daily the rundown on her remarkable remake of a classic 1920’s LA Tudor in the Hollywood Hills. The designer worked closely with the new homeowners to remove anachronistic craftsman and Shaker details added to the home over the decades, bringing the structure back to its Tudor glory and creating an incredibly elegant yet lived-in space. And speaking of decor, Caitlin says, “We found a huge resource through Blue Parakeet Rugs… Sheba would come out to the house and bring her truck full to the brim with antique rugs of every size for us to play with and choose. There is an antique Persian rug from her in almost every single room of the house!”

Taking advantage of Blue Parakeet Rugs Rug ‘N’ Roll feature, the designer chose gorgeous, one-of-a-kind Persian antique rugs for a number of rooms, including living, sitting, and even a runner for a bathroom. The jewel tones of the rugs contrast beautifully with the clean architectural features and darker, earth-toned furnishings and fixtures.
