Last week MyDomaine published a droll-worthy photo gallery of a Venice townhouse renovated and styled to perfection with “rustic wood cabinetry, dark furnishings, and bright pops of color” by LA-based Homepolish star designer Mandy Cheng. The chic and cozy home blends modern industrial elements with earthy, vintage finds — including a gorgeous piece from Blue Parakeet Rugs!

In the feature, Mandy says, “Because the house is modern in architecture, regardless of the wood beams and brick accents, I really needed to bring in colors and textures to keep the house from feeling stark, and this vintage rug was a splurge item that made all the difference in the room.” We wholeheartedly agree.
